Terms of Use

    Last updated: 20 October 2026

    The agreement for using Rehearse: what it is, how plans and credits work, what you can and can’t do, and what we’re responsible for. Written to be read, not scrolled past.

    1. Agreeing to these terms

    These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Mobil80 Solutions and Services Pvt. Ltd. (“Mobil80”, “we”, “us”), the company that operates Rehearse. They cover the Rehearse app for iPhone and Android, this website, and everything you do with them.

    By creating an account or using Rehearse, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Rehearse.

    If your employer gives you Rehearse through Rehearse for Teams, these terms apply to you as a user too. The company’s own use is covered by Rehearse for Teams below.

    2. Who can use Rehearse

    • You must be 18 or older.
    • You may have one account, for your own use. Accounts can’t be shared or transferred.
    • The information you give us, such as your name and job title, must be accurate.
    • You can’t use Rehearse if the law prevents you, or if we’ve previously closed your account for breaking these terms.

    3. What Rehearse is — and isn't

    Rehearse lets you practice difficult conversations with an AI character and get feedback. It’s a practice tool.

    • The characters are AI, not real people, and don’t speak for anyone.
    • Feedback and scores are generated by AI. They can be wrong, incomplete or miss context.
    • Rehearse isn’t professional advice — not legal, HR, employment, medical, psychological or financial advice, and not therapy or coaching from a qualified person.
    • What you do in a real conversation is your decision and your responsibility.

    Rehearse isn’t a crisis or emergency service. If you’re being harassed or threatened, or you or someone else is at risk, contact your local emergency services, your HR team or a support line.

    4. Your account and signing in

    You sign in with a one-time four-digit code sent to your email. Each code works once and expires after a few minutes. There’s no password, so anyone who can read your email can sign in to your account: keep your email account secure.

    You’re responsible for activity on your account. If you think someone else has used it, tell us straight away at akil@rehearsenow.app.

    5. Plans

    Rehearse runs on credits. This section and the next three are about personal accounts bought through the App Store or Google Play; a Rehearse for Teams seat works as described in Rehearse for Teams. Everyone starts on the Free plan; paid plans add a monthly credit allowance and remove limits.

    PlanCreditsLongest sessionScenarios
    Free30, once, when you sign up5 minutesCore scenarios
    Voice120 every month10 minutesEvery scenario, plus your own
    Pro300 every month10 minutesEvery scenario, plus your own
    Coach700 every month10 minutesEvery scenario, plus your own

    Paid plans can be billed monthly or yearly. Yearly plans still receive their credit allowance every month. Prices are shown in the app and by the App Store or Google Play before you buy, in your local currency, and that is the price you pay.

    We may change what plans include or cost. A price change for an existing subscription follows the App Store’s or Google Play’s rules, which include telling you first.

    6. How credits work

    • Voice mode costs 1 credit a minute. Avatar mode costs 5 credits a minute. Every started minute counts, so a session of 4 minutes 10 seconds uses 5 minutes’ worth.
    • When a session starts, we reserve enough credits for its longest possible length — a 10-minute avatar session reserves 50 credits. You need at least that many to start.
    • When it ends, you’re charged only for the minutes it actually ran, and the rest comes straight back. If that avatar session ran 3 minutes, 15 credits are charged and 35 return.
    • If the character doesn’t join within 75 seconds, or the session can’t connect, you aren’t charged. The reserved credits return to your balance automatically, usually within 20 minutes.
    • Your monthly allowance is added on your plan’s monthly date. Unused allowance credits don’t roll over into the next month.
    • Credits from top-up packs are different: they carry over from month to month until you use them. Your monthly allowance is always used before your top-up credits.
    • Credits have no cash value. They can’t be exchanged for money, transferred to anyone else or refunded, except where the law requires.
    • If credits are added or removed by mistake, we may correct your balance.

    7. Top-up packs

    If you’re on a paid plan and have used your monthly credits, you can buy a one-off pack. Packs are offered in the app once your balance drops below 50 credits, the cost of one full avatar session:

    PackCredits
    Small50
    Medium150
    Large350
    Enterprise1,000

    Packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Credits are added once the store confirms your payment, usually within a few seconds, and they don’t expire while your account exists — including when your plan renews, changes or ends. They are forfeited if you delete your account.

    8. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

    • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, and you’re charged through your App Store or Google Play account until you cancel.
    • To cancel, turn off auto-renew in your store account. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play → your profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.
    • After you cancel, your plan keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Your account then moves to the Free plan: sessions are limited to 5 minutes, only core scenarios are available, and no further allowance is added. Credits already in your balance stay usable.
    • If you switch plans, the change takes effect under the store’s rules, and your balance becomes the new plan’s monthly allowance plus any unused top-up credits.
    • Deleting your account doesn’t cancel your subscription. Cancel it in your store account first.

    9. Payments and refunds

    Apple and Google take all payments, under their own terms. We never see your card or bank details.

    Refunds are handled by the store you paid through, under its refund policy: on iPhone at reportaproblem.apple.com, and on Android through Google Play. We can’t issue store refunds ourselves. If a refund is granted, the plan or credits you bought may be removed.

    Sessions that fail to start aren’t charged, as explained in How credits work, so you don’t need a refund for those.

    10. Rehearse for Teams

    Rehearse for Teams is how a company gives Rehearse to its people. These terms apply to the company as well as to each person using a seat.

    The company account

    • A company opens an account with us and agrees an order form or other written agreement setting out its plan, number of seats, term and fees. If that agreement and these terms conflict, the signed agreement wins. [to confirm: whether Teams customers sign a separate master agreement or only an order form, and its name]
    • The person who sets up the account confirms they have authority to accept these terms for the company.
    • The company’s company admins manage seats, programs, company scenarios, settings and billing in the Teams portal. Program leads can see people and insights and run programs, but not billing or settings. Managers practice and see only their own practice.

    Seats

    • Each seat is for one named person and can’t be shared. A company can move a seat to someone else by removing one person and inviting another.
    • A company can have only as many people on seats as its agreement allows.
    • If the company turns on join by work-email domain, anyone who signs in with an email address at the company’s verified domain can take a free seat. The company is responsible for deciding whether to turn this on.
    • Each seat comes with a monthly credit allowance set by the company’s plan. It’s topped up to that allowance each month and doesn’t roll over. It doesn’t touch credits a person bought for themselves.
    • When a person leaves their seat, their Rehearse account carries on as a personal account under these terms.

    The company’s responsibilities

    • Before inviting people, the company tells them what it will be able to see about their practice, as described in our Privacy Policy, and how it will use it.
    • The company has a lawful basis, under the employment and data protection laws that apply to it, for giving its people Rehearse and for using what it sees.
    • The company doesn’t pressure anyone into sharing a rehearsal, and doesn’t use Rehearse scores as the only basis for decisions about someone’s employment, such as hiring, pay, promotion or discipline. Scores describe practice sessions, not people.
    • The company keeps its admins’ access to the portal secure, removes people who have left, and tells us promptly if it suspects someone has misused its account.
    • Company scenarios follow the acceptable use rules below, and don’t identify real colleagues without their agreement.

    What the company can see

    Rehearse for Teams shows the company each person’s activity, scores, skill averages, program progress and real-conversation verdicts, plus team and company figures — the full list is in our Privacy Policy. It doesn’t show transcripts, audio, scenarios people write for themselves, or the feedback on any rehearsal they haven’t chosen to share, and we won’t provide those to a company on request, except where the law requires us to.

    Acceptable use for companies

    Everything in Acceptable use applies to the company and its admins. In addition, a company may not use Rehearse for Teams to monitor people covertly, to collect information about people who aren’t on its seats, or to try to identify individuals from team or company figures.

    Employee personal data

    When we process personal data about a company’s people for it, we do so as its processor, and our Data Processing Addendum governs that processing. It forms part of the company’s agreement with us.

    Fees and billing

    Fees, billing frequency, payment method and payment terms are set out in the company’s order form. App Store and Google Play terms don’t apply to Teams seats, and the refund rules in Payments and refunds above apply only to store purchases.

    Pilots

    We may offer a company a pilot: a short, time-limited trial on a small number of seats. Its length, seats and any fee are set out in the pilot order form. At the end of a pilot, managers’ access through their seats ends unless the company signs up. [to confirm: what happens to a pilot company’s data if it doesn’t sign up, and after how many days it’s deleted]

    When a company account ends

    When a company’s agreement ends or its account is closed, access through its seats ends. We delete or return the company’s data as set out in the Data Processing Addendum. [to confirm: deletion period after a company account closes]

    11. Your content

    You own what you say and write in Rehearse: your side of each conversation, and the scenarios you create.

    So that we can run the service, you give Mobil80 a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, transmit, process and analyze that content — including sending it to our AI providers to hold the conversation and write your feedback — for as long as we keep it under our Privacy Policy. We use it only to provide, secure and support Rehearse for you, and not to train AI models.

    Please don’t put other people’s sensitive personal information, or confidential information you aren’t allowed to share, into a scenario or a session. Describe situations in a way that doesn’t identify people who haven’t agreed to it.

    If you send us ideas or suggestions about Rehearse, we’re free to use them without paying you or owing you anything.

    12. Your own scenarios

    On paid plans you can build your own rehearsal by describing a situation, the person involved and how you want them to behave. You’re responsible for what you write.

    Every scenario is checked automatically before it’s saved, and we refuse ones the check flags as harmful — such as harassment, threats, self-harm, hate, graphic violence or sexual content involving minors. For some of these a practice conversation with an AI is the wrong answer, so instead we’ll point you towards real help: HR, a trusted colleague or a local support line.

    We may remove a scenario that breaks these terms.

    13. Acceptable use

    When you use Rehearse, you agree not to:

    • harass, threaten, bully or abuse anyone, or use Rehearse to plan harm to someone;
    • create content that is unlawful, sexually explicit or hateful, or that involves minors in any sexual way;
    • impersonate a real person, or use the characters or their output to make someone believe they’re dealing with a real person;
    • record, publish or pass off the avatars or AI output as real people, real statements or real events;
    • try to extract, copy or reverse-engineer our prompts, models, scenarios or code, or get around our safety checks;
    • get around session limits, credit charges or plan restrictions, or create extra accounts to collect free credits;
    • access Rehearse with bots, scripts or other automated tools, or overload or interfere with the service;
    • resell, rent or give anyone else access to your account;
    • use Rehearse in any way that breaks the law or anyone’s rights.

    14. AI-generated content

    The characters’ words, their faces and your feedback are generated by AI. Despite our safeguards, AI output can be inaccurate, inconsistent or occasionally inappropriate, and a character won’t always behave exactly as a scenario describes.

    Don’t rely on AI output as fact or advice. If a character says something offensive or harmful, end the session and tell us at akil@rehearsenow.app.

    The avatars are synthetic. They don’t depict real people.

    15. Our intellectual property

    Rehearse — the app, website, scenarios, characters, avatars, prompts, feedback rubric, design, name and logo — belongs to Mobil80 or the companies that license it to us.

    We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use Rehearse for your own development, under these terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute or sell any part of it, or use it to build a competing product.

    16. Availability and changes to the service

    We work to keep Rehearse running, but we can’t promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. It depends on outside providers, and when one has a problem a session may fail or, in avatar mode, run as voice only.

    We may add, change or remove features, scenarios, characters or plans. If we remove something you’ve paid for in a way that significantly affects you, we’ll tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

    17. Suspension and termination

    You can stop using Rehearse at any time, and delete your account from Profile → Delete account.

    We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, misuse Rehearse, put others at risk, act fraudulently, or if the law requires it. A suspended account can’t start practice sessions. Where it’s reasonable and lawful, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

    If we close your account because you broke these terms, any unused credits are forfeited. If we close it for any other reason, we’ll treat unused paid credits fairly and as the law requires.

    Sections that by their nature should continue — including your content, our intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and disputes — continue to apply after this agreement ends.

    18. App stores and other services

    Rehearse relies on services from other companies, including Apple, Google, RevenueCat, OpenAI, Anam and LiveKit. Your use of the App Store or Google Play is governed by their own terms.

    If you downloaded Rehearse from Apple’s App Store

    • These terms are between you and Mobil80, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for Rehearse or its content.
    • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Rehearse.
    • If Rehearse fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation.
    • Apple isn’t responsible for claims relating to Rehearse, including product liability, legal or regulatory, or intellectual property infringement claims.
    • You confirm you aren’t located in a country subject to a US government embargo, and aren’t on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
    • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

    Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app, except where these terms say otherwise.

    19. Disclaimers

    To the extent the law allows, Rehearse is provided “as is” and “as available”. Beyond what these terms say, we make no promises about it — including that it will meet your needs, that it will improve how any real conversation goes, or that feedback will be accurate — and we exclude implied warranties such as fitness for a particular purpose.

    20. Limitation of liability

    To the extent the law allows:

    • Mobil80 isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, reputation or employment, arising from your use of Rehearse or anything you do based on it.
    • Our total liability to you for all claims relating to Rehearse is limited to the amount you paid for Rehearse in the 12 months before the claim arose.

    Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

    21. Indemnity

    To the extent the law allows, you agree to compensate Mobil80 for claims, losses and reasonable costs that arise because you broke these terms, broke the law, or infringed someone else’s rights through your use of Rehearse or content you provided.

    22. Governing law and disputes

    These terms are governed by the laws of India.

    If you have a problem, please contact us first at akil@rehearsenow.app — most issues can be sorted out quickly. If we can’t resolve a dispute informally within 30 days, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

    23. Your rights as a consumer

    Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be excluded by agreement, including the laws of the country where you live.

    24. Changes to these terms

    We may update these terms when Rehearse or the law changes, and we’ll change the date at the top. If a change is material, we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Rehearse after that, you accept the updated terms; if you don’t agree, you can stop using Rehearse and delete your account.

    25. General

    • These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Rehearse. For a company on Rehearse for Teams, its order form or signed agreement with us and our Data Processing Addendum also apply.
    • If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
    • If we don’t enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
    • You can’t transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else. We can transfer ours — for example if Mobil80 is reorganized or sold — as long as your rights aren’t reduced.
    • We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
